A good way to profit from internet giveaways is to enrol as a free member and download all of the gifts. Just one of these sites will usually give you virtually all you need to make money fast on the web. You will probably be able to download ebooks with resell rights, together with the website template to sell them from, and tons of information on driving traffic to your new site.

However, that is not the best way to make money from a giveaway. You will do even more if you have a product to offer yourself, and build yourself a list of internet marketers who will buy from you.

1. Offer a valuable gift - something that people will really want.

2. Be sure that your gift is uploaded and test your opt in form before the doors open. Most people will join in the first 24 hours.

3. Have a paid product that people will see immediately when they have signed up for your gift. For example you can have this second offer on the same page as the download link for the free gift. I find that a relatively low priced offer works best ($5 to $15).

4. Send them the download page address in an email, even if your autoresponder already sent them there. Then they have another chance to buy your paid product.

5. Stack up further emails through your autoresponder, giving them either extra information or more free gifts.

6. Then you can start promoting your higher priced products (or affiliate products). Remember that you want the free gift to attract subscribers who will buy your later offers, so choose your free gift carefully.

7. Always promote the internet giveaway. If you do not yet have a list, use free promotion methods e.g. safelists. Do some promotion every day. This will add to your points so your gift is displayed higher on the list.

8. If there is a contributor upgrade where you can get your gift a higher place, I always take it. it pays well.

Finally, keep logging in to see what is happening. Is your gift attracting as many subscribers as others on the same page? How is your upsell converting? Are your subscribers staying on your list? There are so many things you can tweak to increase your conversion rate.
