Article Writing Is Enjoyable Now
|
As an affiliate online marketer, I enjoy writing articles about things that interest people that also helps them market online or in some other way helps them to be successful. But after a while in writing my articles, I started to get a little dry and it just became more difficult to even come up with ideas let alone an entire article.
So, the well had gone dry and I was at odds with myself. As I was laboring with this weight on my shoulder and wondering what possible topic to write about next, I decided to say a prayer. Being a Christian I asked, “What can I do next?” Within moments I had an answer! An idea pops into my head - “Pick up your tape recorder and start talking.”
Now, that answer to prayer is just what I’m doing at this moment. I’m dictating into my tape recorder and later, when I’m finished, I will type out what I have been saying. I may use this same technique for every article I write in the future. I noticed that when I began talking, my ideas flow better than they would if I only have a blank sheet of paper in front of me. The fact that this feels conversational also makes it easier and faster.
So, what you get here are the warts and all. I’m just talking to you on my tape recorder. I’m laughing to myself but this is how you too can write articles all day long. It is so easy and enjoyable once you have some knowledge about something. It doesn’t take very long - you can read other articles to get knowledge about your target market - the people who you are selling to or want to sell to, what would interest them. This is one simple way to do that.
Now, when you complete the recording, all you have to do is rewind the tape, listen (with the pause button ready) and type it out and paste it into your article submission provider. And there it is, this is exactly how it happened (I’m laughing) Could you see yourself doing this too?
For your information, it took me only 7 to 8 minutes to have over 400 words for my article. Be sure to check with your own submission service but most ask for 300-700 words in length. It’s easy to get this number. Just multiply a full line by the total number of lines.
You will also need to do some editing. After you have typed it out, read it out loud to find out if it still flows as it did while you were talking. If something else sounds better as you re-read it, go ahead a make some minor changes.
That’s it. Enjoy your article writing. If you don’t have a small tape recorder yet, an inexpensive one will do. I like a hand held recorder so I can walk around and not be stuck in my chair. I think better when I’m moving around. That works for me. Find out what works for you and I wish you great success in your article writing.
